Vinyl

This post will be on something on truly love which is vinyl.  Vinyl is a physical form of music where grooves are put into a vinyl record which can playback sound.  Vinyl to me is the highest quality in musical playback, nothing compares to the sound of a record.  Of course vinyl does have its disadvantages,  for one its not portable and it is very expensive.  This aside though, vinyl is an incredible way to listen to music.  You get such a warm crisp listening experience from a record that you can not get from a mp3.  If you ever get a chance to own a turntable you will know what I am talking about.  I just recently got a new turntable, the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon.  It is a fantastic table and it greatly improves the already stellar sound.  Here is a picture of it :

Expanding your listening

To start this post, I think listen to 1 or 2 genres of music is the absolute worst thing you could do to yourself. This is because their are so many other ideas and joys in other genres of music that sticking to only one really hurts your musical experience.  I think the greatest enjoyment i have with music is that I can listen to hardcore band and then switch to a jazz band.  You learn so many different things from each genre of music from a musical aspect to a cultural aspect.  I myself probably listen to over 20 genres and I enjoy them all differently.  So to finish this, I think people really should expand their music listening because you never know what you might like.

Thoughts on Music

Hello to anyone reading this, I am writing this post to talk about my thoughts on music.  To start this off I am Frank and if you didn't know, music is a huge part of my life.  I am always listen to music or looking for new music to listen too and I think I probably listen to about 8-10 hours of music a day.  It is something that brings me joy in many different ways.  It really crazy to think of my life at this point without it because it is so ingrained in my everyday life.

So now you know just a little about me, lets talk one aspect of music that affects me everyday which is the quality of the music we listen too. The music that people listen to on the radio has little if any lyrical substance or quality production.  You might say Frank how can you make that assumption that's only your opinion.  Well you are correct it is only my opinion, but I have had countless hours to listen to music and say and believe that.  Popular music follows a boring formula of verse,chorus,verse,chorus, ending verse.  This is the basic model for all popular music and I find it to be incredibly boring.  

These are again only my opinion and thoughts on music.  I think the biggest reason for this is because people are just lazy and don't want to take the time to actually search for a band when they can just listen to the same old thing on the radio or TV.  I'm going to end this post now before I go on 50 different topics on music and I don't have the time for that.
